The cold water is not cool enough:

A. Check at what number the thermostat is positioned to. It should be set between X - Y.

B. If the thermostat is positioned correctly and the water is still not cooling, turn off the     switches, bring thethermostat to off, and unplug the machine for 45 min to 1 hr. Once you     restart the unit, turn on the cold water switch, and in intervals of 2 minutes bring the     thermostat to 4. Wait 15-20 minutes and verify if the water has cooled.

C. Never bring the thermostat to 6. This might stress the compressor and it will stop working.

D. If after trying the above, and the problem still persists; return the unit to the store. It is under     limited warranty for 2 years from date of purchase & can be exchanged. You can also contact     1-877-383-6399.

The bottom compartment does not cool:

A. Please make sure the power is turned on.

B. This unit might not be a refrigerator unit. Verify by checking the model number on the UL label     found on the back of the unit.

C. Check for 2 thermostat knobs on the back of the cooler.

D. Check for 2 blue switches on the back of the cooler. This indicates whether it is a refrigerator     unit or not.

E. Contact the Elite Group at 1-877-383-6399 if still not cooling.

Water leakage:

A. Verify if the drain plug is securely placed, and check if the rubber nipple is missing from the     inside of the plug.

B. There might be tiny pinholes in the bottle.

C. Verify if the bottle is placed on the unit properly. If you do not use the bottle with a rubber     sealed cap this may cause an overflow.

Hot water is rising into the bottle and the other 2 taps:

A. The tube leading to the hot water reservoir has a security tab that allows the water to flow     into the tank, but does not allow the water to rise back up into the bottle and the other 2     tanks. If this does happen the security tab is defective and the unit will have to be returned to     the store under warranty.

The water has an after taste:

A. The interior of the machine is all stainless steel; there is no plastic. You can clean the machine     with some water and vinegar. Just add a cap full in a jar of water and pour into the unit. Flush     some more water in the unit and let it sit for 20 min. Let the water out through the drain     plug.

The unit has a strong plastic smell:

A. The plastic on the exterior of the unit is injected with a fire retardant liquid. This might give off     a strong smell. Allow the machine to air out and wipe the unit with a damp towel and some     dishwashing detergent. The smell usually goes away.

The compressor is smoking:

A. The machine was plugged in before inserting a bottle of water on the unit. The compressor is     working without any water to cool or heat.

The hot water tap is not dispensing any water:

A. The hot water spout has a safety lock. Turn the knob around where the safety lever is facing     you, and pinch the 2 levers together, and pull forward.

The dispensers are not letting out any water:

A. The rubber stoppers are jammed or not placed properly. A new tap will be sent to the client.

The cooling power switch is turned on, but the compressor is not starting:

A. Is the power cord plugged in properly?

B. If the unit is brought in from the outside in the winter, the thermostat may get affected by     the cold. Let the unit to warm up for a few hours to get to room temperature.

The cooler operation is noisy:

A. Check if the unit sits on a leveled surface without rocking. If the cooler operating noise is high     just after it has been brought in from the store, try to stop the unit for 1/2 hour, then start it     up again.

The compressor works non stop:

A. Turn the thermostat down counterclockwise. Once the compressor has stopped, readjust it      to your liking.
